The October 7 Morning
Where it stands
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in late August that the October 7 attack would have unfolded differently had he been awakened. His office's chronology says he was first alerted at 06:29 and ordered full mobilization at 09:55, and Democrats leader Yair Golan sued Sara Netanyahu over her remarks about his October 7 response. On October 3, bereaved mother Reut Recht-Edri said people around the prime minister had told families of an altered protocol.
