14 Bereaved Families File Complaint Against Netanyahu Over October 7 Account

Fourteen families bereaved by the October 7 massacre or Hamas captivity filed a complaint seeking a criminal investigation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They addressed it to Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and police investigations chief Boaz Blatt. The complaint concerns Netanyahu's 55-page response to the State Comptroller, submitted in December 2025 and released publicly in February 2026. The families allege that selective quotations, omissions and statements removed from context sought to distance him from responsibility for the failures preceding the attack. Signatories include the Chen, Shay, Eshel and Kedem families.
