Netanyahu Says Bar Had His Red-Phone Number Before October 7 Attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar had his red-phone number and could have contacted him during the night before the October 7 attack. In an October 14 statement, Netanyahu said Shin Bet security personnel guarding him around the clock could also have reached him within minutes. Netanyahu said Bar was claiming he lacked his telephone number. He alleged that Bar saw warning signs that night but did not call him.
