Eisenkot’s Yashar Party Asks Attorney General to Examine Netanyahu’s October 7 Account

Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party asked Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara on Thursday to examine allegations that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supplied incomplete or misleading security documents to the State Comptroller and the public about the failures preceding Hamas’s October 7 attack. The request was submitted through attorney Uri Haberman. The party alleges that warnings about Hamas’s strengthening, links to Iran and risks of escalation were omitted, including material from an intelligence document dated October 3, 2023. No response from Netanyahu was included in the report of the request.
