Ram Ben-Barak accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of endangering Israel’s security in a statement published early on October 9. He said there was no greater threat to national security than the government Netanyahu heads, and described the disaster that happened on Netanyahu’s watch as the greatest since the Holocaust. Ben-Barak also rejected the theory of “betrayal from within,” saying those promoting it would have to answer for doing so. He added that the moment of accountability was closer than ever.
