Naor Shiri Criticizes Likud Over October 7 Accountability

Knesset member Naor Shiri criticized Likud and Amir Avivi over responsibility for October 7 in a Hebrew post on Saturday morning. Shiri alleged that Avivi had given an interview a week before the October 7 massacre in which he said it was important for Hamas to receive money and that he did not want escalation. Shiri accused Likud of refusing to acknowledge responsibility even when confronted with it. He also invoked the Carmel and Meron disasters, accusing the party of failing to recognize responsibility in those cases as well.
