Chikli Contrasts Judge-Led Inquiry With Parity-Based Commission

Amichai Chikli contrasted an October 7 inquiry headed by Justice Amit with a national commission based on parity in a statement on October 11. He pointed to the rally held on the eve of October 7 as an illustration of the difference, describing it as an election rally organized by the opposition bloc. Chikli alleged that bereaved families and hostage families who opposed unconditional surrender to Hamas had been excluded from the rally. He also alleged that all elected coalition representatives had been excluded.
