The Fight With the ICC
Where it stands
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio launched a campaign against the International Criminal Court, which had issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant. The court's member states dismissed chief prosecutor Karim Khan over misconduct allegations he denies, and Washington sanctioned ICC President Tomoko Akane and senior trial lawyer Abdoulaye Seye. France said the warrant did not bar Netanyahu's flight over French airspace, while Israel contests the warrants.
