Netanyahu Thanks Trump and Rubio for Sanctioning the ICC

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked United States President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on October 9 for imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court. In a statement published in Persian by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he described their decision to impose the sanctions as vital. Netanyahu said the International Criminal Court was a political institution rather than a court, and characterized it as a deadly threat to democracies governed by law.
