The Beaufort and Ali Taher Tunnels
Where it stands
The IDF exposed a Hezbollah tunnel near Beaufort in July, as demolitions prompted a dispute with Lebanon. It subsequently reported gaining control of Ali Taher Ridge above and below ground. On September 10 the military announced the destruction of more than two kilometers of tunnels used to plan attacks on Israel.
