Hezbollah-Linked Source Says Over 100 Personnel Hold Ali Taher Ridge

More than 100 Hezbollah and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps personnel are positioned on Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon, according to a source close to Hezbollah. The source said the group would not transfer control of the ridge to the Lebanese Army and would prefer Israeli destruction to surrendering it. The ridge was described as important to Hezbollah and as containing military facilities. Supplies continue to reach the position irregularly amid demands to dismantle Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
