The IDF said a Lebanese Army vehicle drove over an explosive device in southern Lebanon's Al-Mansouri area, killing one soldier and wounding two others. Following a review, the military said the device was not Israeli and was most likely planted by Hezbollah; it added that IDF troops had not been present in the area recently. The vehicle entered the southern Lebanon security zone without the prior coordination required by the existing mechanism, according to the IDF. The military urged civilians and forces to avoid areas where Hezbollah remains a threat and to coordinate movements in advance.
