Israeli Jet Strikes Sribbine Valley as Shelling Hits Southern Lebanon

An Israeli fighter jet struck the Sribbine Valley in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil district, while Israeli warplanes remained overhead. Automatic-weapons fire also targeted Adsheet al-Qsair in the Marjeyoun area. Artillery shells hit the outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Ali Taher, with repeated fire reported in Wadi al-Salouki between the Bint Jbeil and Marjayoun districts. The Aug. 22 field update did not cite casualties or damage from this sequence, which covered several parts of southern Lebanon rather than a single target area.
