IDF Kills Hezbollah Operative Emerging From Ali Taher Tunnel
At 17:31 IDT, the IDF said Egoz commandos under Division 36 identified a Hezbollah terrorist emerging from one of the shafts of the underground terror infrastructure at the Ali Taher ridge in Israel's southern Lebanon security zone. The operative posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces, and the Air Force struck and killed him at the troops' direction. The IDF said its forces are continuing operations on the ridge and are preventing Hezbollah terrorists from leaving the underground network or moving across the area. Israel should keep pressure on the tunnel stronghold, because Hezbollah's Iranian-backed presence in southern Lebanon remains a direct threat to northern communities and soldiers.
