IDF Finds Hezbollah Shaft and Weapons in South Lebanon

The IDF said at 15:10 IDT that Division 91 troops found a Hezbollah tunnel shaft and a weapons store with rockets and mortar shells in the A-Tiri area of southern Lebanon. In a separate Maroun al-Ras operation, reservists from the Yiftach Brigade located explosives, weapons and additional combat gear intended for Hezbollah terrorists to use against IDF forces. Ynet and Srugim published matching Israeli reports within minutes of the official release. The finds show why Israel must keep operational freedom in the north: Hezbollah's hidden arsenals remain a direct threat to soldiers and northern communities until they are dismantled.
