IDF Says Haddatha Sweep Seized Over 150 Hezbollah Weapons
The IDF says 401st Armored Brigade troops operating under the 91st Division have secured operational control in Haddatha, a Hezbollah stronghold in southern Lebanon about 10 kilometers north of Israel's border. Over the past month, soldiers destroyed more than 90 terror infrastructures, eliminated more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists and found more than 150 weapons, including RPG rockets, anti-tank missiles, machine guns and Kalashnikov rifles. The announcement underscores that Israel is using the security zone to remove direct threats before they can reach northern communities. It also reinforces Jerusalem's position that Lebanese stability depends on Hezbollah disarmament, not on leaving Iranian-backed weapons in villages facing the Galilee.
