IDF Kills Hezbollah Operative Near Ali al-Taher Tunnel Shaft

Israel National News

The IDF said troops operating in southern Lebanon's security zone identified a Hezbollah operative near an access shaft of the terror group's underground infrastructure on the Ali al-Taher ridge and directed an airstrike that killed him. The military said he posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces. In a separate strike Friday, the IDF said it killed a suspect moving in a vehicle who also threatened troops in the buffer zone. Israel said its forces will keep blocking Hezbollah terrorists from leaving the tunnel network or using the ridge to threaten soldiers and Israeli civilians.
