IDF Gains Operational Control of Ali Taher Ridge Above and Below Ground

IDF forces from Division 36 gained operational control above and below ground at Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon after clearing two Hezbollah underground routes over recent weeks. The military said some terrorists were killed and others fled, while neutralization of the cleared infrastructure is continuing. The network included command and weapons rooms, generators, living quarters, showers and a kitchen designed for prolonged combat and habitation. The IDF said Hezbollah used the routes to plan attacks against Israel and Israeli troops, and described the strategic system as built over two decades with Iranian financing and planning.
