Israel's Northern Command assesses that dozens of Hezbollah terrorists trapped beneath Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon have enough water, food and medicine to survive for at least several more weeks, according to a fresh Israeli report. The men reportedly have dates, canned goods and medical supplies, while IDF forces monitor the tunnel exits and maintain control of the underground system. The IDF has lowered its public profile on the standoff amid Iranian pressure and American mediation, while officials are concerned that an attack could trigger Hezbollah escalation and Iranian intervention. Israeli forces continue to prevent the terrorists from leaving, leaving surrender or starvation as the reported options.
