A police officer has alleged that National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir ignored officers after arriving at a confrontation in Mitzpe Jericho on Thursday. Three officers were reportedly injured during an arrest attempt, with injuries including a broken nose and a broken hand, and a police vehicle’s tires were cut. Ben Gvir denied the claim, saying he attended a memorial gathering and remained at the confrontation’s margins. Police said their operational review was not yet complete and was continuing alongside the investigation into the incident.
