Prosecutors Reportedly Approve Questioning MK Kroizer Over Suspected Assault on Officer

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and State Attorney Amit Aisman reportedly approved questioning Otzma Yehudit MK Yitzhak Kroizer under caution on suspicion of aggravated assault of a police officer. The reported decision concerns a confrontation in Mitzpe Jericho approximately two weeks earlier. A joint investigation team would reportedly take a single account addressing both his complaint against officers and their complaint against him, to avoid duplicate or conflicting accounts. Kroizer alleged that police assaulted him and accused the decision of political and selective enforcement. The Attorney General and State Attorney declined to comment.
