Sohlberg Orders Police Blurred in Ben Gvir Campaign Video

Central Elections Committee chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg ordered National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to blur police security officers wherever possible in a campaign video filmed during a tour of Jaffa. He also ordered the removal of police-only segments and clips showing senior officers who were not part of the minister's protection detail. The partial ruling followed attorney Shahar Ben Meir's petition alleging prohibited use of public assets for election propaganda. Sohlberg found the video presented Ben Gvir's law-and-order record and future intentions, while the minister must edit the video across all his social-media accounts.
