Nearly 70% of Israelis See Risk to Election Integrity

Nearly 70% of Israelis say they believe the integrity of the coming election is at risk, according to the July Israeli Voice Index released by the Israel Democracy Institute. Concern reached 90.5% among Jewish left-wing respondents, 76% in the center and 66% on the right. The survey interviewed 600 Hebrew speakers and 151 Arabic speakers from July 28 through August 2, producing a representative sample of Israeli adults. It also found 56% prefer primaries as the best way for parties to select their Knesset candidates.
