TikTok said it has established a dedicated task force to protect Israel's October 27 election from disinformation, deceptive artificial-intelligence content and coordinated platform abuse. The company said the team includes specialists in policy, cybersecurity, deceptive behavior, threat intelligence, elections and civic integrity. It will also launch an in-app Election Center using official Central Elections Committee information about voting procedures and dates, along with guidance for identifying false information. TikTok said it removes content that could mislead voters or interfere with results, requires labels on realistic AI-generated material and blocks coordinated influence campaigns, impersonation accounts and amplification bots.
