Yoaz Hendel, chairman of the Reservists and Economic party, called on Ofer Winter on Thursday morning to sign a surplus-vote agreement and change his coalition commitment. In a press statement, Hendel urged Winter to retract his position that he would join only Benjamin Netanyahu and the Haredi parties. He proposed that their two parties jointly commit to entering only a government without Haredi or Arab parties. Hendel described the proposed arrangement as a blocking bloc against coalitions involving those parties, presenting both the vote agreement and the coalition condition as a joint undertaking.
