Likud Figures Say Netanyahu Bloc Could Reach 63 Seats if Small Parties Withdraw

Unnamed Likud figures say recent internal surveys indicate Benjamin Netanyahu’s bloc could reach 61 Knesset seats, or 63 if parties associated with Yoaz Hendel, Yaron Zelekha and Ofer Winter withdraw before the election. They warn that votes for parties below the electoral threshold could cost the right-wing bloc the equivalent of two or three seats. The party figures describe boosting right-wing turnout, strengthening field operations and reducing votes lost to small parties as campaign priorities. The report does not provide the surveys’ pollster, sample size, margin of error or exact fieldwork dates.
