Amcha Israel Denies Seeking Vote-Sharing Deal With Reservists Party

Amcha Israel denied on Friday that it had approached Yoaz Hendel’s Reservists Party to seek a surplus-vote agreement. The party rejected the account of such a request as false. Earlier, the Reservists Party had said Amcha Israel approached it about an agreement and that it refused the proposal. The two parties gave contradictory accounts of whether Amcha Israel sought the arrangement, with Amcha Israel disputing the approach that the Reservists Party said it had rejected.
