Likud announced on October 6 that it had signed a surplus-vote agreement with the joint Religious Zionism–Zehut list led by Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin. Otzma Yehudit said Likud had refused to sign such an agreement with it and accused the party of trying to weaken Itamar Ben-Gvir’s position before the election. It alleged that Likud was preparing a future unity government with Gadi Eisenkot that would exclude Ben-Gvir. No agreement between Otzma Yehudit and Ofer Winter’s Amcha Israel had been approved, although that pairing was reported as an option.
