National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir reportedly was not invited to an election conference planned by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, and did not know it was taking place. The meeting, titled “Saving the Right,” is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, at the Ramada hotel in Jerusalem. Invitations went to dozens of senior Religious Zionist rabbis and heads of Torah institutions. The planned agenda includes election-day preparations, increasing voter turnout and dividing fieldwork between Likud and Religious Zionism; the invitation says the rabbis’ participation matters to the success of the entire camp.
