National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir called for dismantling and disarming the Palestinian Authority during a 06:29 appearance at Nitzanei Oz interchange near Tulkarm on October 7, three years after the Hamas-led attack. Standing near the security barrier and Highway 6, he warned that Israel must prevent a similar infiltration into Netanya, Kfar Saba and other Sharon communities. He also called for arresting Palestinian Authority personnel and said Israel must not repeat the earlier surprise. His Otzma Yehudit party announced a bridge-billboard campaign along Highway 6 highlighting what it describes as an infiltration threat.
