IDF troops under the Ephraim Brigade completed a broad overnight operation in seam-line villages, arresting about 30 suspects over alleged involvement in smuggling illegal entrants into Israel. Forces searched dozens of locations in Tulkarem, Qalqilya, Azzun Atma, Shuweika and other communities while targeting infrastructure used to support unauthorized crossings. The military said the brigade established a dedicated intelligence cell during the past year to map smuggling networks and guide proactive operations. The suspects have not been convicted, and the IDF described the arrests as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen security along the seam line and in Israel's home front.
