Border Police Reveal Arrest of Security Impostor Smuggling 21 Entrants

Border Police disclosed that officers arrested an Israeli man in his 30s from Beit Hanina, suspected of operating a network that smuggled Palestinians without entry permits from Judea and Samaria into Israel while posing as security personnel. Investigators said he wore security uniforms, fitted a white GMC Savana van with flashing lights, and approached crossings as though responding to an urgent operation to avoid inspection. When officers ordered him to stop, he allegedly breached the checkpoint and fled before being caught after vehicle and foot pursuits. A search found 21 people hidden behind a false partition; all were transferred for questioning.
