Likud Reportedly Targets Seven to Eight Seats for Ben Gvir’s Party

Likud is reportedly preparing a targeted campaign to recover voters who moved to Itamar Ben Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit, aiming to limit the party to seven or eight seats. Internal assessments cited in the report put its potential support at 12–15 seats, rather than describing published polling results. The reported strategy seeks to strengthen Likud while preserving the right-wing bloc and avoiding pushing Otzma Yehudit below the electoral threshold. Some recovered votes could also move to Shas or Bezalel Smotrich’s Religious Zionism, according to sources familiar with the campaign strategy.
