Ben Gvir Challenges Bennett to Debate; Bennett Says His Rival Is Netanyahu

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir challenged former prime minister Naftali Bennett to a one-on-one debate during an encounter outside a news studio on Tuesday. Bennett declined, saying he was running against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rather than Ben Gvir. Ben Gvir accused Bennett over forming a government with Mansour Abbas, while Bennett countered that Ben Gvir had supported such a government. Staff and security personnel tried to separate the two as Bennett continued toward the studio and Ben Gvir repeated his request for a debate.
