Almog Cohen and Yitzhak Kroizer Clash With Audience at Yifat Election Forum

Deputy Minister Almog Cohen and Otzma Yehudit MK Yitzhak Kroizer clashed with some audience members at an election forum in Yifat on October 13. Asked about allegations concerning a confrontation with police in Mitzpe Jericho, Kroizer denied assaulting officers or blocking a road and said he had tried to calm the encounter after a memorial. Audience members heckled and booed as he criticized Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. Cohen backed locating a supplementary international airport in the Negev rather than the Jezreel Valley and said he intends to pursue higher minimum sentences for protection-racket offenses in the next Knesset.
