Eisenkot Accuses Netanyahu of Spreading Fear About Media Closures and Arrests

Gadi Eisenkot accused Benjamin Netanyahu of spreading frightening videos suggesting that Eisenkot would close media outlets and that right-wing Israelis would be arrested. In a Hebrew post on October 13, Eisenkot said those warnings no longer impressed the public. He also challenged the claim that Netanyahu alone could deliver security, saying that contention had collapsed three years earlier. Eisenkot promised courageous leadership focused on decisions affecting Israeli citizens and said his camp would bring a different reality within two weeks. He urged readers to avoid the videos he described as frightening.
