Eisenkot Pledges Jail for Those Who Tried to Enter Bnei Brak Building

Gadi Eisenkot said in a late-night election statement on October 14 that people who tried to force their way into a Bnei Brak building would be jailed under his leadership. He urged voters to support the IDF, its soldiers and the organizations that strengthen the military. Eisenkot accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition partners of enabling widespread avoidance of military service. His post included a screenshot of reporting on the Bnei Brak incident and challenged the conduct of those attacking soldiers and those financing attackers.
