4 Hebron Yeshiva Students Reportedly Released After Highway 1 Detention

4 students from Hebron Yeshiva were reportedly detained while travelling east on Highway 1 near Sha’ar HaGai. Military-police vehicles were said to be waiting in the area to receive them, while calls circulated urging members of the Haredi public to come to the scene and prevent the transfer. After people gathered, security personnel reportedly stopped the attempted handover and released the 4 students without transferring them to military police. The account does not identify the students or specify the grounds for their detention, and provides no official response.
