Modiin Mayor Haim Bibas called on the police and army on October 6 to review how an overnight operation in the Nofim neighborhood was handled and prevent similar disturbances. He said officers and soldiers must receive the support and resources needed to carry out their missions. Bibas said the municipality would use every lawful means available to prevent further disorder and protect the city's residents. He attributed the disturbances to Haredi participants from outside the city and said those involved were not Modiin residents.
