Cohen Criticizes Netanyahu’s Bloc After Protester’s Anti-IDF Remark

Meirav Cohen criticized Benjamin Netanyahu, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir on Friday after sharing a video in which a protester described the IDF as an enemy army and rejected enlistment. Cohen questioned the remark and accused the three politicians of depending on Haredi parties. She claimed that without those parties their bloc would have fewer than 35 Knesset seats, presenting that figure as part of her criticism of their political dependence. She argued that this dependence would lead to continued government backing for avoidance of military service.
