Eisenkot Says His Team Prepared Plan to Close Seam-Line Gaps

Gadi Eisenkot said his team had prepared a detailed plan to close gaps along the seam line, as he toured the area with municipal heads from across the political spectrum. In his statement, he described the situation as a serious security failure and claimed that tens of thousands of people were staying unlawfully in Israel. He said residents lived only tens or hundreds of metres from the seam line. Eisenkot contrasted his tour with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's courthouse videos, which he criticized as gimmicks.
