Halevi Calls for Close Monitoring of Polling Stations and Absentee Ballots

Likud MK Amit Halevi called for close monitoring of polling stations and double-envelope absentee ballots during an October 12 conference interview. Halevi, a member of the Central Elections Committee, said his camp must remain especially alert and rejected allegations that Likud could steal the election. He said the right should judge Ofer Winter's party by whether it strengthens or endangers the bloc. Halevi also criticized Yashar leader and former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot, alleging that his security outlook could reverse Israel's wartime gains.
