Election Chief Orders Yashar to Label or Remove Netanyahu-Sinwar Video

Central Elections Committee chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg issued an interim order on October 15 directing Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party to label or remove a campaign video. The clip appears to show Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speaking by telephone with Yahya Sinwar and congratulating him. Likud petitioned for a notice disclosing that digital means had been used to create or edit the video. Sohlberg considered a labeling obligation apparently applicable at this stage, while examination of the petition continues.
