Israel’s embassy in Canberra is voting in the election for the 26th Knesset, Ambassador Hillel Newman announced on Thursday morning. In an October 15 post, Newman said the mission in Australia’s capital was among the first Israeli embassies worldwide to participate in the parliamentary ballot. The embassy voting comes ahead of Israel’s nationwide election, which its official election notice schedules for Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
