Yair Lapid pledged on Thursday to increase oversight of all early-childhood settings, identifying the proposal as one of the measures he said he would pursue in the next government. In a Hebrew campaign post, he presented stronger supervision as a way for parents to know that their children are being cared for in safe and professional hands. Lapid said the election was 12 days away and that he would publish one intended government action each day.
