Religious Zionism Warns Voters After Golan’s Remarks

Religious Zionism called Yair Golan’s remarks a warning to Israeli voters in a statement published on October 9. The party said his comments revealed the principles of a possible next government if the left returned to power. It credited Bezalel Smotrich’s stance alongside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the war cabinet with enabling continued fighting across fronts despite media and public pressure for withdrawal. Framing the election as a choice over cabinet membership, the statement contrasted Smotrich and Orit Strock with Naama Lazimi and Golan.
