Reservists Party Says It Rejected Winter’s Vote-Sharing Request Over Coalition Condition

The Reservists-Economic Party said on October 16 that Ofer Winter’s Amcha Israel had asked it to sign a surplus-vote agreement and that it had declined the request. The party said it would reconsider if Winter committed to staying out of a government with Benjamin Netanyahu and the Haredi parties. It described Winter as a worthy prospective partner while making clear that its coalition condition remained in place. Renewing its appeal to Winter, the party said two hours remained to sign an agreement.
