Rabbi Eli Sadan Denies Urging Voters to Avoid Ofer Winter’s Party

Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of the Bnei David institutions in Eli, denied saying voters should avoid Ofer Winter’s Amcha Yisrael party because it would fail to cross the electoral threshold. In a recording made public on Sunday, Sadan said he hoped the party would clear the threshold. He argued that its entry into the Knesset would allow Benjamin Netanyahu to form an entirely right-wing government. Sadan said he initially chose not to respond, but decided to clarify his position after being shown reports attributing the opposite view to him.
