Post-Slate Poll Lifts Winter and Liberman as Democrats Slip

The first election poll after candidate lists closed placed Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar first on 25 seats and Likud on 21, while Naftali Bennett’s B’Yachad held 13. Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu rose to 9 and Ofer Winter’s Amcha Israel to 5, as the Democrats fell to 10 and Religious Zionism-Zehut to 5. The opposition remained on 68 seats and the coalition on 52. Eisenkot led Netanyahu 42%-38% on premiership suitability; the 504-person Midgam poll reported a maximum margin of error of 4.4%.
