First Post-Launch Poll Gives Ofer Winter 8 Seats and Likud 26

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of Ofer Winter speaking emphatically at a lectern into a microphone with one fist raised and Israeli flags behind him, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

Direct Polls’ first survey since Ofer Winter launched Amcha Yisrael gives the new party eight Knesset seats and Likud 26, five fewer than in the pollster’s previous survey. Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar receives 23 seats and the Democrats 10, while Yisrael Beiteinu, United Torah Judaism and Together receive eight each. Shas receives seven, Otzma Yehudit, the Joint List and Ra’am six each, and Religious Zionism four. The pro-coalition bloc including Winter reaches 59 seats, compared with 61 for the opposition and Arab parties.
